Everytime I go to post something, I realize it has been exactly one month since my last post. This is probably a direct correlation to how busy we have been. I am hoping March is much more restful than the beginning of the year!
Update, Drew broke his arm about 6 weeks ago, and went to the Dr. yesterday and his hand is healing. The Dr. would have taken off his cast.....if Drew and my dad hadn't already taken it off with a dremel. Yeah for getting to do things again!!!

Old Pictures

My wonderful mother-in-law went to http://www.scanmyphotos.com and put all of the kids old pictures (and some great ones of my in-laws) on a CD. All the old pictures were getting the yellow tint, so she went and took all the old pictures in to get scanned. Here is my favorite of Drew, I think he still makes this face. He looks like such a little trouble maker!

What have we been up to???

It has been exactly one month since I last wrote, and what a month it has been. We had a wonderful Christmas, and I feel so blessed to have a wonderful family. Drew and I went to Park City, Utah for some skiing the day after Christmas, and it was really nice getting to spend some quality time together. We had a great New Year's Eve party at our house, and we have such amazing friends!

January has been the shortest, yet longest month of my life. I am going on 19 days straight of working, weekends and all. I average about a 14 hour day, and can't belive that I can physically do it. The hardest part is not working the long hours, or waking up early, I really miss the things that I used to complain about doing. Going to the grocery store, cleaning the house, paying the bills, I never thought I would miss, but when you don't get to the little things you begin to miss them. I am so thankful that Drew has taken over the daily house hold duties, but secretly I can't wait until I can get back to them again. The month is almost over, and I can't wait until I get a little piece of my life back!

Christmas Time

Brooke had her debutante ball over Thanksgiving weekend, and she looked so beautiful. We had a great time with the family, and it was fun getting to dress up. We also got our first Christmas tree. I didn't get one last year because we had just gotten married, but promised Drew we would get one this year. We went with the snowman theme, and the tree looks great.

One Year Anniversary

I cannot believe it has been one year already, it seems like just yesterday I was walking down the aisle. We have had a wonderful first year, and I couldn't have picked a more perfect man to marry. I am only more excited to see what awaits us in years to come.
We had a great dinner at Napa Vine, with our own private menu and wine pairings. The night finished off with some beautiful diamond earrings that Drew so kindly gave me ( I guess after one year, he learned pretty well what I like). It was a great evening to celebrate what was an incredible year!

A Couple of Great Weekends

We have had a great couple of weekends together. Last weekend we went to the USC v. Cal game with our friends Wende and Cubie. Today we drove down to San Diego to get in a little surf and visit Drew's sister. It was a beautiful day, and had a great time.

It sure would be nice to have some nice fall leaves to go and see, but I guess I'll be thankful come January when I don't have to deal with the snow. It sure does feel like fall with the time change, the elections, and Thanksgiving right around the corner. Before we know it, 2009 will be upon us.
