Easter 2009

We had a wonderful Easter this past Sunday. A couple of college friends were down from Northern California, so it was great to spend some time catching up. On Sunday we had an amazing church service, and followed it up with a great brunch at my Aunt's house.

This past weekend we went kayaking with with Drew's family in Newport. It was such a nice day and it was nice to be outside. Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to be in the sun much, needless to say I got a little burned.

I think the seals took over this boat.

We are definitely enjoying our married life, it just being the two of us. We will eventually have kids (at least a couple years away), but this web-site I came about was too good to pass up. We put in both of our pictures, and this is what our little girl is going to look like. Pretty funny.

Everytime I go to post something, I realize it has been exactly one month since my last post. This is probably a direct correlation to how busy we have been. I am hoping March is much more restful than the beginning of the year!
Update, Drew broke his arm about 6 weeks ago, and went to the Dr. yesterday and his hand is healing. The Dr. would have taken off his cast.....if Drew and my dad hadn't already taken it off with a dremel. Yeah for getting to do things again!!!

Old Pictures

My wonderful mother-in-law went to http://www.scanmyphotos.com and put all of the kids old pictures (and some great ones of my in-laws) on a CD. All the old pictures were getting the yellow tint, so she went and took all the old pictures in to get scanned. Here is my favorite of Drew, I think he still makes this face. He looks like such a little trouble maker!

What have we been up to???

It has been exactly one month since I last wrote, and what a month it has been. We had a wonderful Christmas, and I feel so blessed to have a wonderful family. Drew and I went to Park City, Utah for some skiing the day after Christmas, and it was really nice getting to spend some quality time together. We had a great New Year's Eve party at our house, and we have such amazing friends!

January has been the shortest, yet longest month of my life. I am going on 19 days straight of working, weekends and all. I average about a 14 hour day, and can't belive that I can physically do it. The hardest part is not working the long hours, or waking up early, I really miss the things that I used to complain about doing. Going to the grocery store, cleaning the house, paying the bills, I never thought I would miss, but when you don't get to the little things you begin to miss them. I am so thankful that Drew has taken over the daily house hold duties, but secretly I can't wait until I can get back to them again. The month is almost over, and I can't wait until I get a little piece of my life back!
