Harajuku at Target

I love Target, and can rarely get out without spending at least $100. They have done such a great job at featuring some great designers. Currently, Gwen Stephani's designs for Harajuku are in the baby section. There are some really cute things. I've heard that Target is selling out quite fast so hopefully you can get your hands on some!

Best Baby Teethers

My little one has finally had her first tooth break through about a week ago and the second came through just a couple of days after that. She handled them pretty well but I was on the hunt for some good teethers as she seemed to want to put everything in her mouth. There are so many out there. We have Sophie, vibrating grapes, frozen rings, etc.... They worked OK but she would rather just play with Sophie, the grapes were too large and the frozen rings too cold. I then found the perfect thing for her, a piece of watermelon rind. It had been in the fridge so it was just a little bit cold, she could actually bite down on it and I could cut it to the perfect size for her little mouth. I now have one happy girl!

Baby Shower

Saturday was the baby shower for Drew's Cousin, Heather. It was such a success and everyone had a great time. She got some great gifts and I was jealous of all the books she got. That baby is going to have one library of books when he is born. I loved putting together all the little details, form the bunting that hung across the windows to the cupcake toppers it was all really fun to put together. Here are some details of the party.

I read online that baking cupcakes at 400 for 5 minutes and then reducing the temperature to 350 for 15 minutes makes them turn out better, so I tried it and they were the best cupcakes I've made. I will definitely be doing that trick again.
